We strategically launched Melissa & Doug's Barber Shop Playset in two phases. In the first phase, we created engaging content with ex-Love Islander Nathan Massey and his son Freddie, set in their local barbershop, shared collaboratively with Smyths Toys.
In the campaign's second phase, we partnered Melissa & Doug with Murdock Barbers, a prestigious upmarket barbershop in London, for Movember. We facilitated a video shoot with a paid influencer at Murdock, highlighting the child's roleplay aspect—key to the toy's appeal. We amplified our impact with collaborative social content with Murdock and a Movember giveaway.
We also made introductions between Melissa & Doug and Murdock's sales teams, paving the way for future in-store retail collaborations. Our campaign was further supported by Christmas gift guide coverage and consistent social content.
