A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced PR Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to join our small team in Bristol, helping generate stand out PR coverage, influencer partnerships and social media content for a range of top toy brands and licensed characters.
You’ll be an experienced all-rounder with at least 2-3 years of PR agency experience. You’ll have some great media contacts, a passion for kid’s brands, and the imagination and determination to land great coverage for our clients across digital, print and broadcast media.
When it comes to influencer marketing, you’ll be comfortable organising both organic gifting and larger paid partnerships – overseeing smaller contracts, creative briefs and reporting on results.
Finally, this varied role will see you helping create and post engaging social media content for selected clients – so good familiarity with Instagram, TikTok and Facebook is key.
Key responsibilities:
Planning:
- Help account teams keep PR, influencer and social plans up to date
- Track awareness days and calendar hooks for PR/social opportunities
- Monitor relevant social media trends and topics to exploit
- Research and build relationships with relevant media & influencers
- Build and maintain media and influencer lists and image libraries
Campaign Delivery:
- Draft sparkling press releases and social posts, quickly and accurately
- Source or create visuals to support PR/social stories
- Pitch stories and products to media in timely and engaging ways
- Set up competitions and organise product samples and prizes
- Help produce client events, launches and photoshoots as required
- Manage clients’ social media communities on Instagram, Facebook & TikTok
- Upload approved blogs/releases to online newsrooms, websites
- Help manage simple PPC and social media ad campaigns
- Support teams with new business research if required
Reporting:
- Log media coverage and social media results daily
- Collate information for monthly and weekly WIP reports
- Help present activity and results to clients at regular status meetings/calls
- Be a secondary point of contact for clients on a day to day basis
The Person
We’re looking for an ambitious, confident and resilient individual, buzzing with ideas and initiative. You’ll be able to write punchy, entertaining copy, and produce eye-catching visual content, working quickly and effectively as part of a small team.
We need someone who is super organised, able to work quickly and accurately, and who understands the need to constantly juggle changing priorities in a fast-moving industry Being a smart thinker able to come up with solutions to challenges independently is valued.
The ability to work independently but with a strong team mindset is essential. A strong eye for detail and good presentation skills are important.
The role will be office based 3 days a week, with 2 days working from home.
